Daconite

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Daconite uses cookies and similar browser technologies to operate the service, keep you signed in, remember settings and preserve work you have asked us to save.

Daconite does not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers. Our public website uses cookieless analytics as described below. These analytics do not store analytics identifiers on your device, create session recordings or replays, or create individual user profiles.

1. Strictly necessary technologies

These are required for Daconite to work. They are not optional, and there is no setting that turns them off — without them you cannot sign in or keep what you are working on.

TechnologyPurposeStorage
Authentication sessionKeeps you signed in securelyCookie and local storage
Application stateHolds what the editor needs to work and which workspace you are inLocal storage
Security and abuse preventionProcesses necessary browser, device and network information to protect forms and authenticationNecessary security storage may be used where required by the provider

You can clear or block browser storage at any time through your browser's own settings. Signing in will stop working if you do.

2. Preferences and saved work

Daconite stores certain information in your browser so that the product behaves as requested, including editor preferences, work in progress, recent items and a copy of an unfinished access application. Depending on the feature, the same or related information may also be stored on Daconite's servers. Browser storage is not used for advertising. Where this storage is necessary to provide something you asked us to do, we rely on that rather than on your consent; if we introduce storage for another purpose, we will provide any notice, consent mechanism or controls required by applicable law.

How long it stays:

3. Analytics

Our public website uses EU-hosted, cookieless analytics to measure page visits, interaction events and website performance. The analytics do not store cookies or analytics identifiers on your device, create session recordings or replays, or create individual user profiles. The analytics provider receives an IP address when processing a request, but our configuration is set to discard the raw IP rather than store it. We may receive approximate country, region or city information derived from the request, but not a visitor's precise location. This website analytics service is not used in the authenticated Daconite product.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking technologies or advertising pixels.

If we introduce analytics for which consent is legally required, they will not be activated until you have been given a choice. This page and the section below will be updated before that happens.

4. Third-party services

Cal.com — our booking calendar. Cal.com loads only after you choose to open the booking calendar. Once opened, Cal.com may store or access information on your device in order to run the booking, and will see your IP address. If you never open it, nothing is requested from Cal.com.

5. Managing your choices

Daconite does not currently set optional advertising or analytics cookies. You can manage functional browser storage through your browser settings. A third-party booking service may use its own necessary technologies when you choose to open the booking calendar.

If we add optional technologies later, you will be able to change or withdraw your choices at any time, and this section will say exactly where.

6. Changes

If what we store changes, we update this page and the date at the top of it.
